Bad check collection and check recovery can be a burden on a merchants business. Through our monitoring system, we are able to recover about 75% of bad checks without ever contacting your customer. We simply recover bad checks electronically for you and your customer doesn’t have to receive an embarrassing phone call. Your customer will not have to bring in a money order or cash either. For items not eligible for RCK or that the electronic representment has failed we use traditional check collection methods.

RCK and traditional check collection is free to merchants because the fee is paid by the check writer. With Centralized Returns you can realize a phenomenal savings on bad check return fees charged by your bank. Our fee for returned items can reduce your return fees by 60% or more than you are paying now. Participating merchants receive a rebate to cover the bank charge in some states. In other states merchants qualify for bank fee reimbursement with a minimum number of checks collected electronically. With our electronic bad check collection system, no notification of bad checks will have to be sent. We offer traditional NSF check collection to merchants as well. While traditional NSF check collection in itself is not as effective as RCK, it still has a use for items that are not eligible for RCK or the RCK efforts have been exhausted.
